Well it’s time to hit the road once again. The holidays are over and we, at RHM, are hitting the ground in 2013 . . .running!
This weekend I’ll be at the Naperville Adventist Church in Naperville, IL. For more information please call 708.514.5723. If you are in the area, I’d love to see you there.
This weekend will be comprised of five presentations:
Friday 7:00 p.m.: Why Jesus, Part 1
Saturday 9:30 a.m.: Why Jesus, Part 2
Saturday 11:00 a.m.: Why Suffering
Saturday Afternoon (to be announced): Why The Cross
Saturday Afternoon (to be announced): Why Church
These presentations will be aimed at religious and nonreligious alike, those who are familiar with “church” and those who don’t find “church” to be of interest, for followers of Jesus and non-followers. Jesus’ message of the Father’s love is for all.
We’ll be sharing insight on the picture of God we get when we allow Jesus to be our definition of morality, our answer to the question of suffering on this planet, our explanation as to the purpose of Jesus’ death, and our central reference point on the nature of how we gather together to worship with one another. As with everything else we do here at RHM, this weekend will be filled with conversations that are relationally respectful, intellectually transparent, and culturally relevant.
If you cannot be there, please join us in prayer that those who attend will encounter first hand the radical, other-centered, self-sacrificial love of God as seen in the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Much love to each of you and thank you in advance for your prayers.
I love you guys,
